In partnership with the Global Encryption Coalition and Internet Society (ISOC), and in collaboration with OSSEC Inc , the Lanka School on Internet Governance (LKSIG) hosted Preliminery Session in line with IGF Sri Lanka 2025 and the 5th Annual Global Encryption Day in Sri Lanka, on October 16th 2025, focusing on “Building a Safer Internet through Encryption”. The session comprised a 1.5-hour online panel discussion. The session convened domain experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to deliberate on the critical role of encryption in the digital era.
