DESCRIPTION:The Lanka School on Internet Governance (lkSIG) 2026 is designed as a truly multistakeholder initiative\, built on strong partnerships and collaborative engagement across government\, civil society\, the technical community\, academia\, the private sector\, and underrepresented groups. \nThe school will actively involve participants representing government institutions\, civil society organizations\, technical experts\, academia\, women and youth groups\, marginalized and differently-abled communities\, LGBTQIA+ community\, development agencies\, technopreneurs\, policymakers\, and students. This inclusive approach ensures that diverse perspectives are reflected in discussions and that no group is excluded from participating in the school. \nThrough this multistakeholder collaboration model\, lkSIG 2026 aims to foster inclusive participation\, build capacity on internet governance among Sri Lankan IG practitioners\, strengthen national capacity on Internet governance\, and build a sustainable community of stakeholders capable of contributing meaningfully to Internet governance. \nThe Lanka School on Internet Governance (lkSIG) 2026 will be conducted as a 2½ day in-person residential programme\, scheduled for 27th\, 28th and 29th March 2026 in Colombo.
